Oh this is gonna be good. (http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sciencetech/article-2055649/Hacktivist-group-Anonymous-threatens-Mexican-drug-cartel.html)

A two minute message supposedly from a member of the Anonymous 'hacktivist' group has threatened members of the violent Zeta drug gang in Mexico with exposure.

The video demands the release of an Anonymous member allegedly kidnapped by Zeta members during a protest.

'You have made a great mistake by taking one of us. Free him,' the video says.

The video - in English and Spanish versions - warns that unless the kidnapped activist is freed, the group will post photos and identities of police officers, journalists, taxi drivers and police working with the Zetas online this week...

I'm trying to figure out whether Anonymous has overplayed their hand here ... or if Los Zetas are screwed (of course if the Zetas have their own hackers ... or hire Russian or Chinese hackers ... they could end up finding and removing Anonymous members from their parents basements. If that's the case, lets hope none of us here have an Anonymous schmuck living in their neighbor's basement and stealing your wifi!).

But I gotta wonder, if Anonymous really has lots of info that if released could damage the Zetas, why haven't they released it already? I would contend that if they do and they haven't that they have blood on their hands.

Just make drugs legal in America and none of this would happen.[Beer]

information can be a powerful weapon, but in the end there is only one way to deal with mexican drug gangs.

If you honestly believe that, then you must of not done so well in history. Those cartels will reinvent themselves, and find new lucrative ventures. It may be worse then the drugs they run now. We have a country who cant take sleeping pills and pain pills properly. What honestly makes you believe that these same americans will know how to use their coke, or have enough brains to not drive after doing a bunch of pot. We already have a society on the brink of collapse, lets just give it a little push and make half the country a bunch of druggies, so the Zetas can come over and take over the country.

I've never touched anything illegal and I know that right now, I could get a hold of anything I wanted with a couple of quick phone calls. The illegality of drugs is a poor deterrent to people starting new habits.

We need to educate our children and realize that we can't control what someone does in their home. I could give a damn if someone wants to smoke away their life as long as they're not harming someone else in the process. That includes parents neglecting their children.

Legalizing drugs isn't going to 'make' new druggies. People, like me, who have no desire to do them still won't just because they're legal and less expensive. Amazing how when someone has a proper upbringing they choose right from wrong w/o the government defining it for them. Novel concept.

The thing we need to be aware of:
Zetas is a well known threat within the US but they have stayed pretty low key on this side of the border.
"Anonymous" is stupid for doing anything to provoke them.
Nothing like poking a stick into a hornets nest........................

So George Washington was a druggie?

Anybody can get their hands on any drug they please right now within America. So everyone must be a country full of druggies running around snorting coke, stealing money from our parents to take a hit of heroin. No, thats not how it is, it is the same thing as alcohol. Ok, there are a few alcoholics, but the whole damn country is not all alcoholics. Most likely the people that are already doing the drugs, and letting the drugs ruin their lives are the ones who would continue stealing from their family to feed their habit or whatever bad stuff they need to do to get a fix. Making drugs legal would not suddenly entitle people to give up their homes, quit working, or becoming homeless. If anything it would give the government (not that they should even have the power to say this) amesty for making certain drugs illegal, soley because certain races were using them In the early 20th century. Marijuana ilegal. Why? Because Mexican field workers in the early 20th century came to America. And guess what? We are intolerant of non-white immigrants, so we pick on something that they enjoy doing, and that is smoking marijuana. So we make marijuana illegal and a huge felony charge just because we dont like Mexican immigrants. Same is said for every other organic drug out their. Drugs shouldn't be illegal in the first place. WHAT else will the cartels run? What else is illegal and lucreative? Automatic weapons? Well they already run those and they should be legal as well.

Worked for Mexico! Oh, right. The whole 40k+ murders a year thing.

Legalize drugs, make guns illegal, that's the solution I'm telling you. Cartels won't have any reason to exist!

Illegal weapons are what the cartels already use. So no point in making guns illegal.
