Tried to go today...after driving around for an hour looking for someplace to park, we came home...[Rant1] How rediculous is it to let your vendors take up 1/4 of the parking places with motorhomes and truck/trailers, and not have any parking available for those with money in their pockets...

It's actually quite simple. Don't go until after 2pm. It really slows down after 3pm, and there is still plenty of time to shop.

The wife and I were there working the Friends of NRA booth selling raffle tickets this morning. There are still people there selling the tickets, go buy one.
anyway, man what a ZOO, TON OF PEOPLE
I left about 1pm and man, still a zoo
wow
LOT OF PEOPLE
and yeah, not much close parking. BTW vendors aren't allowed to park up front, they tape it off before the show opens.

There was also a "Christmas Show" in another part of the facility, so they were taking some of the parking.

Got there about 2:30, got a perfect-timing right-out-front parking space!!!! Used the A.S.S. table as my base, as I'm getting accustomed to doing. I give Alex smoke-breaks and hang out. Byte Stryke was there as an official A.S.S. wiper(watcher!), also met Blackford76, all cool.

I got tied up today, but think I'll go early tomorrow. maybe even take the bike so I don't have to worry about parking.
anyone see a Glock 33 there today?
Holy Crap, Drove around for about 30 minutes. Then a guy over by the Christmas thing stopped us and said we could park behind Burger King. Over by the Hammonds candy. Pretty good walk, but it was good meeting with some of the board members. Good Day! If your wife is going to drag you to the christmas thing, we went in there. My wife said she'd be damned to pay $13.00 to look at christmas stuff.

Had a guy come over and ask how to sbr his pistol AR he just purchased. Only problem the seller sold him a rifle lower with pistol upper upper on it. He said the vendor told him it was no problem as the lower was a"multi-caliber" lower and GTG!!!
The new owner would not say who the vendor was. He was also told by same "vendor" he could not form 1 it as form 1's were no longer allowed by the ATF.
HEADS UP GUYS.

That too. Food is super-salty and over-priced. But generally edible.
I have no problem finding a parking spot. All I do is hang out close to the front door and wait for someone to walk out, offer them a ride for their parking spot.
Going to try and make it tomorrow.

Not a bad idea, especially with that christmas show thing going on there. You should have seen that place when I left yesterday. Cars lined up around the lot trying to vulture a spot. Watch out for all the little old lady's attending the christmas show. Some of them don't drive so well.[Beer]
I wish I had listened to the 2 pm advice on here. I got there at 10 am and it took almost 45 minutes to get a spot. The christmas show made it ten times worse. Talk about a bad situation, try following around a bunch of old women in their minivans while they try unsucessfully to negotiate a corner at 2 mph. Fortunately for them this happened BEFORE I went to the gun show.

We arrived at 8:50am and there was plenty of open parking. We parked, walked to the door, stood in line for a couple of minutes and were inside at about 9:02. It took us longer to exit the lot at 12:30 than it did to park in the morning. I agree that the biggest problem was the added traffic from the Christmas show.

Spammer?????
Ditto no issue parking, showed up around 9:10ish, parked in the 2nd row in front of the front door. Took longer to get guns zip tied than to park.

Had a good time on Saturday morning. Found the bazooka and met Alex (good meeting you dude!) and mostly just strolled around. Only stayed about 30 minutes. I dislike people to much to spend a long time in there.

I hate the tanner gun show my wallet is empty but my guns are cool
How as the show this weekend? Last show, it wasn't too crowded at all. I was the for a time both days and the foot traffic was extremely light.
I did get a really good deal from a guy thinning his collection on a really nice used FNH...
