View Full Version : New Guy To CO From CA Saying Hi

I am Bud and I just moved from CA to CO about 2 months ago, and also use the Calguns Forum. Someone from that sight suggested I check this one out for better CO information on shooting places, etc., etc. Bought my first gun about 7 months ago, a Smith revolver model 67 - .38 Special with a 4" barrel. Don't own any rifles yet, but I have thought about it.

I can see already that CO is a way cooler state when it comes to guns than CA was, and I'm glad to be here. Hope to get some useful information from this site. Bud

It is a much better place then CA but with the large influx of CA residents it has changed alot in the last 15 years.

Welcome! I'm from CA aswell, and used to lurk Calguns daily.

Isn't it so much better out here? No more bullet buttons, 10rd mags, mag safeties, and the retarded CA DOJ list of "approved" handguns!

Welcome! I move here from CA 5 years ago and it was the best move of my life. People here are SO much nicer! I miss the beach sometimes but I can go on vacation for that.

If I stayed in CA, I probably never would have fired a gun in my life...and that would be a shame. :)

You guys said it! Although I bought my first gun in CA just before I moved, I have others I am looking at to buy and the process is so much easier here. So far, people here have been very cool to us and we are enjoying this beautiful state and all the open space. Would never think of going back. Bud
