Ok since I've ignited a fire with my daughter after I entered to join the Wyoming Prairie Dog Hunt does anyone have a lead or info on some free or reasonably priced areas to go hunt? I'm willing to drive just about anywhere including into our neighboring states..

Thanks

NEVER pay for prairie dog hunting, just do some leg work and build relationships with people who want them gone. Remember YOU are dong them a favor.

I've done a fair share of Dog hunting in Kit Carson. Lots of land owners out in Kit Carson are happy to have people go out and lower the population of "Dogs". If you take a trip out, go to the local grocery, the owners in the past have steered us in the right direction of willing land owners.

I thought it was only a "season" on public land (which starts on June 15th I believe) doesn't apply to private...

May want to verify that with the DOW

No season on private land, only public.

The Division's website has copies of all the small game brochures.
