Once... Not very long ago... I posted pics of the Model XIX Brushed Chrome Desert Eagle .50AE with the Factory Brake installed on it.
Those pics have vanished.
So... Now that I have had it further modified, I guess that I will just have to post new pics... Maybe tomorrow... Of the DE 50 with Brake AND the Same Frame Now Sporting The .44 Mag Barrel & Brake!
Oh, yeah... I can switch between 50 & 44 in under 30 seconds as the Bolt for the 50 & 44 are the same... All I have to do is swap out the barrel & maggie and it is ready to go.. very handy!
Something like this? But with a greater Chrome:Caliber ratio of course... I can't wait to see it

[Wow2] Pretty bold talk... Probably not very wise to pop off like that to the guy that handles that like it's a 9mm... *SFB, eh? Yeah I get that.
But... I guess some folks just don't know no better... 'till it's too late...[LOL]
Now where was I? Oh, yeah...
The Promised Pics of the Magnum Research 50 AE Model XIX with Factory Brake and Interchangable Configuration in .44 Magnum with Factory Brake On The Same Frame & Bolt Setup.
As I said... takes less than 30 seconds... more like 15 seconds... to do the Change Over between Calibers... Very Nice!

After the .44 Mag Addition :

I had them set up the .44 Mag with a Matte Black Barrel and Brushed Chrome Brake so that I could easily distinguish between 50 & 44 at a glance and prevent my feeding in the Wrong Maggie & Ammo.

Kinda' like that. I prefer the Brushed Chrome... not quite so "glitzy". Did stay with the Matte Black Barrel in the .44 Mag. Nice Visual Cue so that I don't feed it incorrectly.
I did go with a Leupold VX-3 2.5-8x32 EER Scope in Matte Silver... I am waiting for my "See Thru" Scope Rings that allow me to use the Iron Sights as well as the Scope.
Shopping for a nice Chest Rig Holster. Also shopping for a Thigh Rig (L&R) so that I can carry the DE and all of it's accoutrements comfortably in the field.

I'm thinking a sling might be more comfortable to carry that big boy! Great pictures btw.

DIAMOND D makes a really nice Chest Holster and a Tanker Holster for it.
I have "thunder thighs" from weight lifting in High School. Plenty of room for twin thigh rigs and the weight is not an issue (yes... I am a big, fat guy). I just want to have a Full Coverage L&R thigh rig (Top Flap with Closed Sides & Padding to obfuscate the contents) so that I can carry Maggies & my wallet on one side and the DE with the Barrel Change Over on the other... gonna' call 'em "strap on attache/carry cases" and see if that will allow me to run a thigh rig in Denver. Otherwise, it will be problematic to carry it... and I do wanna' carry it. Be like having Cargo Pants with Really Big Pockets!![Muaha]
