I realy didn't know quite where to put this,so hence here.

Anyways I have a M11/9 carbine(16 inch bbl NY complient)
And was wondering if there is any availible optics mounting for it.

The sights realy are just useless and I would at least want to be able to mount a red dot on it.

Thanks

oops-I meant optics options

Here is one mount.

You could also get a sidecocking upper like this and change the barrels.

They used to list the sidecocking uppers without barrels but I couldn't find them.

Another option is to screw and glue a short rail to your upper. I've done that a couple times.

Thanks for the links!
I like the sidecockers so much better,I allways seem to get bloodblisters everytime I use the top cocker.

I'l probably go with that mount instead of the screw and glue mount. My luck the screws will be to long and hit the carrier.
I wonder if there would be enough clearance to rivit them on?

I countersunk the screws on from the bottom / inside. Its a real pain to countersink the holes. The receiver is so thin that even a #4 screw head is thicker than the receiver. I also smeared some JB weld between the rail and receiver to help things out. The rail is less than 2 inches long also.

You might give US Machine Gun a call if you are thinking of getting an upper. They might sell you an unbarreled upper or have it listed somewhere I didn't see.

Have fun.

Ah-diddn't think of that!Good idea!!
The price of a barreled upper isn't too bad-I'll wait untill I move out there before I buy one.Allthough on my reciever it doesn't say pistol or carbine on it -so technicaly I can put it on my pistol permit.
I dont know though since if I do have a carbine upper for it I might not be able to.

They don't list specific guns here on permits. Start getting out of that NYState of mind.
