These videos are so full of fail. When I first saw them, they didn't have the "it was safe" comments that are now there. I'm sorry, but the 4 firearms safety rules apply whether the firearm is loaded or unloaded. Check out 7:30 on the second video for a perfect tactical fall by the furthest "operator."

Sorry, can't figure out how to embed the video, not sure if that's supported.

Not sure what video you wanted to link. But I recently saw a really stupid video, linked via Saysuncle.

Video of utter stupidity and fail. Bad tactics, bad safety. Full moron.

The first link you posted looked like a dude finishing up a beer and then tried to run a course witch was a complete fail.

I made it about 1 min in the video before I turned it off.

Yeah, at least try to make it to 1:25 on the first video to see some incredible fail.

From the Youtube URL you pick out the video code (the bit after the "v=" and before the "&" (in the first video you linked its this 8llXZtL3uiw). Paste that into your post and then select it, then click on the "Wrap Youtube tags around selected text" bit up above all the smilies.

You'll get this:

Haha - the first video has a bunch of "this is perfectly safe, we know what we're doing and you're all a bunch of safety nazis" in it now. But if these guys are so awesome, why is the douche hitting the forward assist at 1:58 with the bolt locked back? Total fail.

I could not get that far. [Puke]

What sucks is that folks will take this as representation as majority if not all ar15 owners

He and James Yeager should start a training course together.

Even james would have smacked the guy with the camera.

I could only handle part of those. I felt like I was getting stupider just from watching. I think they might be related to James Yeager...

I love guys like this. They make me feel so good about myself. It is strange how I cringe and move slightly every time a muzzle comes my way even though it's just a video.

I believe he was actually inserting a bit of interpretive dance into the drill. It was a touching demonstration of yin/yang; the fragility beneath the power; the hippo within the warrior. I cried.

He was "checking his 6" according to Walmart ninja SOP.

I'm trying to figure out who is dumber, the camera man or shooter. Point that firearm at me one more time and I will turn you into shishkabob.

Rule 1: stay outta the holler with the hillbillies.

They should practice more self discipline and only eat 3 big macs, and maybe a couple more minutes on the treadmill as well.

I couldn't stand being swept so much as a viewer. "it was safe!?!?!" No, it wasn't. It was an entire Bucket full of "near misses".

TheBelly

(I won't comment on the safety issues. Plenty have done that already)

"I have thouroughly lubed my weapon"

Now it runs fine. Go figure. Poor performance all around. I've gotten rid of all the excess crap off my rifle for the simple reason that it makes the whole thing frickin heavy.

"Switching to silver bear"

Goodness, what a difference THAT makes! Seriously, what makes 300yds with an ACOG difficult? Lack of the fundamentals of shooting, that's what. I'm old and blind, and I can do it with NO magnification. Fundamentals, kids.

Nothing quite like a bunch of cognitively challenged, grossly obese, know-it-all, redneck brain donors passing themselves off as professional firearms instructors to make one feel better about oneself. It looks like the last time this guy ran was when the icecream truck failed to stop in front of his trailer. His gear looks like the result of a drunken binge on tacticalgear.com with his mom's stolen credit card. "It's safe", my ass. Rule number 1: It's loaded, ESPECIALLY when it's "not".[Rant1]

Thank you for sharing the trailer from the next Mel Gibson movie. Can't wait till it's out on VHS.
