Investigators with the Internet Crimes Against Children unit have an ongoing investigation that began from a referral from a California law-enforcement agency in February.
He is toast if this is legitimate.
I will hold my opinion until its said and done, but what a shitty way to end a career.

It's a vague story, with no details on even what they're investigating. They shouldn't report on shit like this until there are details...

I dont follow the Nuggets or basketball at all and had no idea he was heavily into drugs at some point.

I can't remember the whole story but I believe he was kicked out of the nba at one point for drug usage. He cleaned up and came to Denver.

Yeah he played great basketball all coked up. Through therapy and mentors he quit. He got a huge contract now he sucks.

He's been sat out for longer than that. The trades Denver made really put him out.
I like Bird, and I'm not gonna crucify him before the facts come out. He's gone a lot of good charity work, and is a cool dude.
while this has been an "ongoing investigation" since february, I find it strange they wait until the playoffs against the LA Lakers to bring this to light. considering the info came from CA....
He hasn't even played a minute against the Lakers...but still strange.

While I like him and hope what ever they are investigating is not true, he was done in Denver before this came to light. All the new younger players where taking his time and performing much better.

His career is toast as is his life is toast if he was doing anything inappropriate on the net pertaining to childeren, hence legitimate reasons to conduct a warrent and seizure of his property.
Thats what I ment and didnt think that refrence needed to be explained further.

But in Anderson's case she states she is of legal age. He did not know she was underage. There is a difference in stings they will tell you they are underage. This other girl lied and said she was of age, not Anderson's fault... He thought she was of age....
