View Full Version : Sticky suggestion
Okay. So how about a sticky with regular updates from us regarding pricing on parts kits/ammo/accessories, etc?
In other words, a sticky we (members) can update a.w.w. because of the fluctuation in prices?
eg:
Bulgarian AK74 Parts Kits Poly INC
http://www.atlanticfirearms.com/storeproduct1091.aspx
$195.00
Kind of like this one?

Check out www.slickguns.com (http://www.slickguns.com) or www.gun-deals.com (http://www.gun-deals.com) --- both allow you to search by any number of parameters, including 7.62x39 or AK deals.

or maybe a sticky with a list of distributors and venders that commonly have ak parts and accessories. i could list them right now
apex gun parts
copes distributing
arms of america
centerfire systems
ak-builder
gun things
coles distributing
r-guns
what a country
atlantic firearms
k-var
desert fox sales
aa-ok
blackthorn
not all of these distributors currently have kits some just have a good selection of parts also i think there are a few more but these are the main ones on my "circuit" when i am looking for kits or uncommon parts

Yes. But in this category on this board.
As a site, it makes sense. Keeps you on this site, in the thread you are interested in and posts by people you know and, hopefully trust. As a side note, a build sticky and tools sticky would be cool, too.

Whoo-hoo! We have a winner!
That's what I'm talking about.
The only difference would be with updated prices on kits, acc., etc., so us lazy fuqs don't have to use our weak google-fu.

A build sticky and tools would be cool-we can keep it in the 7.62x39 club.
I know there are other ak specific boards that have this but I'm sure there are some guys who just dont want to go to other boards.

One of these days I'm going to put together all that on ereader format so it dont take up too much space.
I thought about putting it on dvd but that'll take quite a few! I probably can put it on a thumbdrive.

I think it was you smelling the oil bottle to determine what country it was made in, what year it was brewed, and what factory it came from.

The Russians did use similar bottles for their vodka :)
When you start the youngins' out on Kvass, Vodka is a no brainer.
I'm still scratching my head over the oil can sniffing for verification of origin.

Hey Justin, I've got a large collection of Mosin Nagant/AK oil bottles here at home. I'll bring them all the next time we get together so that you can test each one for me. I need to know were all the oils came from.
