So how would you guys eliminate rattle caused by batteries and other things stored in the VFG and stock?

I have a few ideas but I thought I'd check here and see if you guys have any insight into this.

Crazy glue

Stick everything you want in there, and then spray crazy glue in the gaps. When it hardens, you can slide the batteries and whatnot out.

maybe some of that expanding foam in the spray can? [Coffee]

Seriously, anything soft that takes up space. Cotton balls, old socks, pieces of rags, earplugs. I would probably go with some paracord myself. Never can have too much of that stuff around. [Awesom]

I put a small spring in the end of the tubes in my VLTOR stocks and cut pieces of thin cardboard to go between the spring and batteries and between the batteries themselves.
The spring should provide just enough tension so the caps have to be pushed in slightly before they can engage. Small peices of foam rubber cut to the diameter of the batteries would work just as well.

You could take them out and put them in your pocket. :) sorry, it's late and I'm sleep deprived.

I used that plasti-dip stuff in a spray can. Sprayed on in the inside of the grip then I took a small piece of foam rubber and put it in there. No more rattle.

In all seriousness though, I've lost alot of stuff by using those little storage compartments. Granted, mine may have been different brands than yours and yours may work better.

Depends whats on hand-I've used cleaning patches tucked around stuff out in the field.
I got creative on one of my grips and made a cutout out of foam to hold my batteries.
