we were shooting rabbits for jerkey with the .22's and i decided to see if a fmj from the ak would make for a quicker kill and be a little more humane. the results are a little more graphic than I expected. :oops:
Next time go for a head shot, Then You'd be halfway done with cleaning.

Poor bunny you neanderthal..............J/K good shooting and it looks like a .22 is a better choice if you want to eat. :mrgreen:

reminds me of a Goose I shot the otherday. It gutted its self when it hit the ground! It was awesome!!!!!!!!!!!

When i've hunted rabbits with my AK I don't get results like that. The FMJ's usually go in and out and the rabbit keeps running. These were Jack Rabbits though so maybe that is the difference. I do get similar results with AR & 55 gr HPs. But not much left to eat.
I thougt the same thing, I even pulled the mag to check if fmj. must have been a perfect spine hit or something, but whatever it was it was dramatic. :oops:
