I have the honor of making the necessary reservations for our upcoming rehearsal dinner. Must seat 50. It has to be Denver/metro. The closer to 25 and Colorado the better. Would prefer some American cuisine, but anything not too ethnic will do. A lot of bland palates in my family.

We had ours last June at the Renaissance near the Flatirons Mall. It's not in the area you're looking for, but they were awesome to work with and the food was excellent.

We had our wedding there as well.

You could look into booking an event room at Dave & Buster's. I recently went to a department celebration for work at D&B. The food was decent and the unwind time at some of the arcades was fun.

don't know exactly what you're looking for, but a little farther south is fleming's steak house at I-25 and County Line--great room. Shanahan's also has a great private room that I believe is bigger than Flemings' and would certainly seat 50. Shanahan's is at I-25 and Bellview--about 4 miles south of I-25/Colorado.

Shanahan's would be my suggestion, but again the $$$$ required. I've dropped $400 on dinner for 2.. I'd hate to feed 50!

Thanks guys. We have more or less planned and booked the whole thing. Pretty much just the stuff I have to do isn't finished yet. I'm looking to keep it near 40 bucks a plate, but 50 is in the cards. Beyond that and my parents will get antsy.

That's how it went with us too - haha! Chicks are ON IT with the wedding planning. I think the Renaissance was in the 40 - 50 range for the rehearsal dinner. There were a few different options. Their restaurant is "The Flatz". Very good.
