Now that's entertainment....
will Rich throw down some stacks of cash and a couple gold coins to bail him out?
Whoops, guess you shouldn't wave around stolen property on camera
But it was a "$20,000 gun revolver "

Wasn't this the one where Rich had his "expert" come in to look at the Colt? I thought the expert told him it was an Italian knock-off and it was big let-down for the seller. Maybe I'm mixing up episodes...
Can someone please copy and paste the article? Apparently the geniuses at the Post dont know how to code a mobile site bypass and its not available on mobile.
Thanks

A 64-year-old Erie man who tried to sell an antique pistol on the Discovery Channel TV show "American Guns" in December (http://videos.howstuffworks.com/discovery/50982-american-guns-colt-dragoon-video.htm)is now accused of stealing the $20,000 gun revolver from a private museum in New Mexico.
Wylie Gene Newton is seen on the show, which is filmed at the Gunsmoke Guns in Wheat Ridge (http://dsc.discovery.com/tv/american-guns/), trying to sell two black powder revolvers. A viewer contacted Santa Fe authorities looking for a stolen 1800s vintage Colt Dragoon black powder

revolver. On the episode, first aired in December, Newton says he had fired the rare gun.
"What's the point in having a gun if you can't shoot it," he says as the cameras roll.
In a separate shot, the store's owner and the show's star, Rich Wyatt, says, "Wylie pulls out a museum-quality Colt Dragoon, and then he tells us he shoots it. That's nuts. I like this guy's style."
Last Thursday, undercover detectives from the Wheat Ridge Police Department met with Newton and offered to buy the stolen gun, leading to his arrest.
He is being held in the Jefferson County Detention Center on a warrant from New Mexico.
Colorado court records show Newton has been arrested several times, including charges of assault, drunken driving, obstruction of justice, intimidating a witness and other charges.

Funny how family ties go. You can almost recognize this guy from his distant cousin.

I actually caught this episode. The experts he brought in said the Dragoon was real but the Colt Walker the same guy brought in (that was supposedly in his family for several generations) was the Italian knock-off.
Rich was actually sad to give him the news that the Walker was fake ... I bet he doesn't feel so sad now.

I find this so difficult to believe. The guy looks like a model citizen.

Too bad Rich didn't get F'ed (no lube), the way he does it to so many others.
Ya just can't make this stuff up.
Let's try to sell unique stolen property on national television.
ROFL1 ROLF2 ROFL3
Yes, smiles are still broke but couldn't resist.
Rich is such a upstanding honest guy, I bet wrong doing NEVER happens at his business.
Heh, reminds me of the time I was in a local coin shop, and this bum came in off the street trying to sell one of those new "gold" dollar coins. Shop owner said, "sure, I'll give you a dollar for it", and the guy was outraged because "you cheatin' me man, this is REAL GOLD, man!" He stomped off all pissed, it was hilarious.
And does that idiot look like he would even know how to load a BP revolver?
