So this site is crashing all the time and you have to wonder if some ass hat is attacking the server. People can be very petty over some really stupid stuff like getting kicked off of the forum.

Sounds to me like the server is always under attack, the mods just do a pretty good job of beating them down.

I was gone all day and didn't notice! glad I didn't have to deal with the depression. I would have been very sad if I couldn't get on again

Ran out of room in the var directory, and it pooped. That is all. Nothing to be concerned about. Nobody told me for 4+ hours, then had to engage brain to fix.

rm -rf /

Immediate problem fixed. ;)
