Hi, All. I'm looking for a NRA Basic Pistol Course for my son and I to take next weekend. I plowed through the instructor listing and found two near by, Colorado Weapons Training and the Family Shooting Center at Cherry Creek. Any toughts on these two or know of another course in the metro area for next weekend?

Bob usually has a course every weekend but you'd probably want to check for sure. I've got my wife and daughter signed up for the female's course on the 2nd, but most of his classes are mixed gender.
My daughter's not old enough for CCW yet, but the courses are good for 10 years, so it's a good start.

Good luck and feel free to PM me if you want any more details.

Bob usually teaches several classes a week, and does a great job at it. I took his class a few months ago.
You won't be upset. Very little sitting and reading from a book and lots of hands on time with lots of different weapons.
