My dad gave me this 12 gauge as a gift a couple weeks ago and I love it. Been in the family since it was new. Wouldnt mind trying to find a new stock since the grip is cracked alittle. Also anyone know where I can find a break down so i can take it apart and see if the buffers are still good.

Coolest thing is no charging handle

The closest I could find to a schematic is Winchester's old parts list.

They are interesting guns. They didn't have a charging handle because some guy named Browning had patented just such a device for the auto loading, recoil operated shotgun.

I would recommend you pick up Roy F Dunlap's "Gunsmithing". It's section on the 1911 sl would probably be the most useful available on disassembly and assembly. The section starts "sorriest and most complicated autoloader ever made..."

There catalog is like a gun bible for smiths!!
They have all kinds of schematics, and they even have some of the hardest parts to find as well.

Unfortunately, they don't have a schematic for the 11 sl, just the old parts diagram/list....

Ah that bites,it might be they dont stock enough stuff for it.
I would think a Winchester site might have something?

Ill check those sites out. For the worst gun they ever made this must be one of the good ones. I've put a few light trap shells through and it shoots well.

I didn't think it realy was a popular model, probably wasn't cheap then either.
Good luck with the search.
