... was yesterday. I am a lucky man.

You know the jokes about getting her kitchen accessories, etc?

Well I did, and she loves 'em...

I am a lucky man.

That is all.

Congrats! How many years

This is only our third, but we've known each other since we were kids. She's stuck by me through it all.

Congrats man!

Very cool stuff...

... but 3 years.? That's not even coffee and a doughnut, lol!

I kid! I kid! I got that "coffee and doughnut" part from a couple that's been married for a little over 30 years.

One year I bought a caulking gun for my wife. She wanted one and we still have it after 27 years.

(Oh, yes, I got her something else as well.)

Congrats, and cook ware and stuff around the house only works for a few years. Then you have it all, so it gets more difficult. That's when the WTF you bought a vacuum, "but its a Kirby" argument happens.

Congratulations! My wife always want kitchen appliances, steamers, one year I got her a Dyson vacuum when the fist came out and she still loves it. Do what she likes and she will do the same. I'm coming up on 12 years. Last year she bought me a Colt Gold Cup Delta. God I love that woman!

Dyson should totally start advertising that their vacuums make up for domestic violence. ;-)

Congrats! It's nice to have a cool wife.

I've lucked out myself mine is easy to shop for. Although she has all ready told me kitchen accessories, etc are a no-no. Two year

Congrats to all celebrating their anniversaries.

In society today we treat marriage like everything else - it's throwaway. It's great to see folks we believe in the institution and know that it's NEVER easy but the work is (usually) worth it.

Sure, my wife drives me nuts, pisses me off, etc. but in the times that she isn't doing those things I find her to be the best companion I could every have and wouldn't want to consider life without her (ain't nobody better be passing this on to her).

Good luck all.

Well said +1!

Wait, can I do the plus one thing? HAHAHA.

My wife refused to get out of bed this morning it was such a good (tiring) weekend. Ok folks, hold off on the bed jokes, HAHA.

That's when the WTF you bought a vacuum, "but its a Kirby" argument happens.

Buddy of mine asked his wife "What would you like as an anniversary gift?" and she actually asked for a vacuum.

Being an obedient husband, he promptly ordered one from Amazon.

Somehow, the order got mixed up, and they delivered TWO vacuums to his house.

When asked "Why did you buy two?", he quickly replied "Well, you DO have two arms, honey..."

(They still laugh about that, five years hence...)
