I am considering a trigger job and need advice on:
What are my options
How much should I expect to pay
Who in the Denver metro area does quality work?
whats the intended end-use of the lower you want a trigger job on?
Target?
Varmint?
etc..
How much you want to pay?
AR Trigger jobs aint cheap and not something you can do yourself.
Intended use is really the question. Honestly on the AR platform, one of the best fair price triggers I've shot is the RRA 2Stage NM. Running around $80 or so, some times cheaper if you shop it. Installation is a breeze and no worries about smith fees.
Then again if you really want something special like adjustability or if you're putting this on a long range shooter, TJ's gunsmithing and Gunsmoke both have good smiths that I'd trust. TJ's turn-around is slower than I like, but he does do good work. I've had work done by both and have no complaints.

[bow] I am probably demonstrating my ignorance, but all I want to do is upgrade it for all around shooting. I don't think I will ever shoot competitively.
Does anybody have any experience with a "drop in trigger group?"
As far As cost goes, I can probably justify any price if I want to and I will probably spend more than necessary, because I have done it before with my hobbies.

Go with a JP or CMC drop in. Easy and not terribly expensive.
