Paid off my last credit card finally. It feels really nice to have no credit card debt. Now it's time to find an apartment.

Good job!
Now the trick is to stay out of debts way for awhile... try going without debt for a whole year and you'll realize it's even nicer...

Congrats! The lady and I are slowly but surely working on paying off ours. Credit card debt blows.
An apartment instead of a house?

Good job!
The wife and I are working on our debt. So far we've paid off all of her student loans, her credit card, and a loan from my dad. All we have left is my credit card, our cars, and our mortgage.
It feels nice to get that crap paid off.

Well, credit card debt I can keep away but I have a few loans I'm paying off.
An apartment instead of a house?
For now. I might get transferred at my work soon so I don't want a house just yet.
Way to go! That was my new year's resolution last year, and it's the first time I've accomplished a resolution!
I've got one card and a few more months on my car. She's got some stuff as well, but it should start going pretty quick now, and even better after the wedding. Next year should be looking pretty good. Especially if I can get a better job. I gave this job a good chance, but I'm not moving up fast enough and worried about my money making potential so I'm going to try and see if I can get back into my true field.
Paid off card tonight. I was a few months ahead on my car, so I stopped paying for one month to pay extra on my card. The card is gone, so my total personal debt (not including the every day card that gets paid off) is only $1660. That was scheduled to be paid off in October. If I don't still make that, it absolutely should be done by December. This time last year I owed at least $8,500 in total debt.
It is great to know how much you can really pay off when you set your mind to it, even when you are making several thousand less a year than before you went several months being unemployed.
Congratulations!
It sure felt good when I went dept free. I really increased my retirement savings then. That's what set me up to retire early.
Be prepared for your credit rating to go down. It will drop if you don't make the proper dept/interest payments. You might consult with someone on how to keep it up if you think you might need a mortgage.
You Did Real Good. Congratulations again.
Wife and I try to keep about $1000 total card debt.
Unfortunately, our debt increased $3000 this year. [Rant1]

Congrats!
I saw my parents use their card as supplemental income and have chose not get tangled up in them. I owe less than 2k and that'll be paid off soon.
Congrats!!! After the wedding I should be out of cc debt, I hope. Would have one paid off,but had to pay hospital bill which is always a large bill.
