I hate people so much...

Some jack wagon decided that they cant work for a living and decided to break into my house.

So far what is missing my collection of knifes, wifes Apple lap top, I-phone, money and various other things.

Edit *My drum mag for my AK, 3 loaded AR mags, jewerly. Ha just found my bullet proof vest is missing too!

Bastards even ate cookies while they were in my house too.

No guns stolen, thank god (all locked in safe), but now they know I have guns so I am freaking out.

Arapahoe County has been called, there was no forced entry, might have gotten in through an unlocked window (they think).

I just dont need this in my life right now!!

That definitely blows. It's happened to my mom once and one of my brothers. My mom actually came home for lunch while the guy was still in the house.

I definitely feel for you.

If you need to cancel or delay our upcoming deal, just let me know.

Back in the day, thievery was seen as robbing someone of their ability to live, their own livelihood. Horse theives were hung on the spot. Why our society deems thieves so valuable now a days I have no idea. Some of my belongings took a lifetime to earn, if someone steals that they owe me every second I sepnt toiling to earn my belongings.

2nd the checking the location of the Iphone!

also, there was a string of burglaries around parker/centennial/aurora a couple of months ago. a couple of my friends places got hit... might be worth taking a couple days of work and pulling up a chair in your living room and just sitting there with your favorite lead slinger with the lights out to see if they get greedy...

Track the iPhone, I think they can even get a history if it was on when they stole it. That sucks so bad, sorry to hear it. Good luck catching those bastards, this is just another reminder for me to get all of my shit together and locked up. I had a close call a couple weeks ago, but fortunately I was home and the sound of me jacking a shell into my 870 made them change their minds. My dogs get the credit though, they woke me up when otherwise I would have slept right through it.

We are trying to track the phone and mac, we left the phone active to see if we can track it some how. Apparently you have to install a cloud program to track it and we didn't do either

I agree...

... I've been watching out for the guys that scout/scope out my area...

they would have to be in the house to shoot'em... and we can't shoot'em outside of that...

... and we can't shoot'em and then drag them into the house..

Any Evidence left behind?

02ducky
05-21-2012, 22:20
They (the ACSO) took a couple figure prints and bagged some tools that were left behind to break in and they also took a jar that contained all the coins. Hopefully the find something with the evidence they gathered.

Damned bummer dude. I hate thieves. Been there before and it's one of the most sickening feelings there is.

It's a little late and not trying to say anything is your fault in the least, but I've gained a lot of piece of mind with the security system I have in my home and garage. I travel A LOT and am single so there's nobody home much of the time. If you are interested send me a PM and I can hook you up with the company that did mine. Cellular based with battery backup, all wireless installation and some added features of home automation. It nearly pays for itself in what I save in my energy bills (from the home automation part) and the homeowners insurance discount. It's all 100% controllable from the internet or smart phone too. I used to have ADT but they are a total rip off in comparison to the company I have now. IMO worth every penny.

I know it sounds like I work for them or get a kickback or some crap but I don't and I'm just a very satisfied customer.

Why not just post up what company it is, I'm sure there are more of us that would be interested in hearing about it.

Damn Ducky, I'm very sorry to hear that. If you can't afford an electric home security system, might consider getting a very large dog. I have one large dog and a second one on his way to getting big. Not to mention dogs are just plain awesome friends. I truly hope they find the bastiches that broke in. God Bless.

Sympothies man, it sucks now your going to be paranoid everytime you leave the house.

A lot of times they scout out areas before robbing you and/or pretend to be salesman to peek inside. Haven't had any suspicious activity lately?

Had someone break in to my JEEP a year ago (not the same as your house but still personal sanctuary) which was parked in front of the busiest entrance at my work. Stole everything including my sunflower seeds and 12 pack of Pepsi. Your anger will get worse before better as you feel violated and just want to find them and beat them to death. Just hope they catch them man.

My case the police wouldn't even come to my location had to go "online" and fill out a report...... Never heard anything.

Back in the day, thievery was seen as robbing someone of their ability to live, their own livelihood.

I like this line of thinking. I read "somewhere" recently that stealing someones firewood was a SEVERE offense back in the day just for this reason. Steal a man's means of heating/cooking for his family and they would be in a world of hurt. The penalty was SEVERE. Therefore, it didn't happen much. Imagine that?

Not so much these days.

Crap duck-Sorry to hear that .
Offer up a reward, might help track the stuff.
I think if they took the bullet proof vest they can be held on felony charges since it was in the crime.

What part of Arapahoe do you live in? Burgs often come in waves and perhaps the other members here can be cautious as well. Sorry for the incident , i hate the feelings of violation that comes with this.

Regardless of what was taken it is a burglary which is a felony. They entered the house to commit a crime. I have seen kids break into places and just steal candy and they have faced felony charges.

So sorry Duck! That's a really horrible feeling. My place was hit a few months back. Scumbags came while my wife and daughter were at the vet's for ONE hour! Probably knocked on the front door and then went around back and smashed the back door glass. Took everything they could before my wife got back including my 2 year old daughters piggy bank! I have unfortunately been robbed before but I'm still surprised by how low people can be. Just have to be careful I guess and make sure to keep insurance (and get as many serial numbers off of electronics as you can. Pawn shop's are supposed to check them through the cops DB and take a finger print). Hope everything plays out as smooth as possible. One day at a time Ducky! Keep your chin up

have never understood posts like this--"hey, i've got this great thing that might solve your problem, but I'm not going to tell anyone what it is...."

OP, would also like to know where in Arapahoe you are generally.

Man, we are headed downhill quick... Seems like there is another burglary, murder every night... Lock and load, check your six, etc. Can't trust anyone.

Ducky, sorry for your pain and losses man. Hopefully some sort of police action, karma, something will come round for you.

+1 on tracking the iPhone... we've had a couple of thefts of phones where I work and they were able to track the person based on the call history- called to N. Mexico and to Brazil each time...

So my general location is off of Buckley and Cestline. When we spoke with the PD today they said that there have been a rash of break ins in this area. They are sitting on 65 cases for Burglery.

I still hate crooks and we tried to track the cell, should have installed the cloud ap for it

Live and learn I guess.

I live in Arvada, and the Arvada PD updates a crime report map that you can see the reports for the last 30 days on a map. You can see trends for the month this way. If there was a string of burglaries you can see. Just an fyi for everyone, check you local departments webpage.

Sorry, I was in a Hotel and didn't have the correct info on it with me, also wasn't 100% certain on the rules of plugging a company on the boards here. Some boards get touchy about that. gimme a second and I'll find it.

I have the same system, my provider is Security Network.

^^ That's it, Security Networks, handles the monitoring but for some reason I was thinking it was another outfit that does the installs.

Edit: it was a separate contractor that did the install called EPC Protection out of Fort Collins.
