I think this is just retarded (no offense to any mentally handicapped folks out there!)... this kid Tebows at his high school graduation and his mom, who is also a teacher, withholds his diploma? WTF? My graduation we had a guy do a backflip, nothing happened to him... our country is really slipping. So glad I'm not a kid anymore.

Celebrating high school graduation is like celebrating tying your shoes in the morning. I didn't even show up for my college graduation.

I plan to tell my kids, "think of the dumbest kid in your high school class who graduated. That's what a high school diploma is worth, and it's not worth much celebraton". Like you, I didn't attend college graduation, but I was already at EOBC.

To Tebow is to pray in public or in a unusually location? I guess praying at school would be almost unheard of.

Depends on the school. Some of them are absolutely totalitarian when it comes to the graduation ceremony, and others are a bit more "liberal" with what they tolerate.

At one of my cousin's schools a classmate got his diploma withheld, because he waved to his parents in the crowd.
