I've got a CMMG 16 M10 Multi-role barrel w/rifle-length gas on a Sabre Defence XR15A3 Light Weight Rifle (carbine).
Features include chrome lined chamber and bore, MP testing, 5.56mm chambering, 1/7" twist, M4 barrel extension, mil-spec parkerizing, drilled gas port, and standard 1/2x28 threads. The M10 multi-role barrel allows six different gas/FSB combinations to suit different needs. Barrels have not been drilled for taper pins. Barrels are engraved "CMMG MPC 5.56 NATO 1/7"

It just doesn't seem as accurate as I was expecting. I don't have any numbers or scientific testing to back me up. It just doesn't seem to group particularly well no matter what premium ammo I feed it.
Say what you will, I really like the appearance of fluted stainless barrels. Anybody make a good one with a 1/7" or 1/8" twist?
Barring that, any thoughts on light / medium / standard weight Noveske 16.1" RECON?

My general preference is to keep the rifle as lightweight as I can, but I'd give up some weight for accuracy.
