I saw Bob at MGTS yesterday and he let me know that this Sunday, May 27 will be an open range day. Chris and I are planning to go if anyone else in past groups are interested as well. PM or text me so I can give him a head count.

Should be a good time and the weather should be great. Unfortunately, I am going to be out of town that day.
Everyone have a good time and be safe.

RW hosts his Range Days somewhat often. He typically advertises through his Facebook page. Send him a "Friends" request.

is this the colorado rifle club, or somewhere else?

Somewhere else. Unless you've been there, it would be like Easter Egg hunting in Bennett.
As Cy said, friend Bob on Facebook or PM Randy.
The Bennett Farm with Bob is better than a day at Disney World.

Invitation only as it's a private range. If you haven't been there before or haven't prearranged it with Bob, just let me know you want to go in a PM.

I never understood what the big difference was between coronets and trumpets.

After reading BigBear's list of brass horns and prices, I don't think I want to know.

That was simply awesome. Broke in a new Mossberg 930SPX on steel knockdown targets and then pushed the 10/22 Takedown out to 160 yards on the man sized gongs. Finished off the trip attacking the pistol steel with the 10/22 for some carnival quality fun! Perfect weather and had a great time hanging out with Chris, Paul and the other guys who made it out.

I just got home.... had an awesome time. Walk through with Bob was really fun. He taught my friend Scott some good tips too.

Bob's such a great guy. I just met him last week at his Steel Challenge match. We went out and played this morning. I was shooting the USPSA stage and steel mainly today. What a great playground for gun nuts. I can't wait to get back.

What a day at the great range, good too see all the fellow shooters again!
Left the range at 4:30, we did help RW to clean everything up.
Great range, Bob is a great teacher and excellent person. Very clean place with plenty of nice steel targets. It's a great feeling to hear the 'ding' sound the first time!
Enjoy the range, give Bob a hand with setup/takedown, respect the honor system, clean your brass, and learn as much as you can. I learned a lot from watching and participating.
Will be back ASAP!
