Never pay for Targets again!

My Brother Jerry found this guy in his neighborhood near Littleton. Cooltargets.com He turned out to be a pretty cool guy himself. Jerry paid $15.00 for the CD that he sells at gun shows for $17.50 normally. Jerry also said you can print them on your computer. That’s fine for smaller targets but what about full size Tactical Silhouettes? He was thinking buy a new printer capable to do the job and I suggested that he go to a Kinkos and see what they can do first. So check it out here… http://www.cooltargets.com/

I picked up this guy's CD back in November. Yes, there are some cool targets on there, though none are full size that I could find.

I have purchased full size ICE-QT targets at the gun shows (Tammer) and have picked up cardboard boxes that were going to recycling in order to make my own full-size IPSC-style cardboard targets. I had found rules somewhere that gave the dimensions and I used that to create a pattern.

I would not invest in having them printed on heavy stock paper so long as large boxes are free for the asking at the grocery store and elsewhere.

Get it printed on the least expensive paper and then buy a glue stick or light duty stapler. Stick the light paper to heavy cardboard and you have a heavy target for any use at the least expensive price possible.

I keep my eyes open at home for smaller cardboard boxes that I can stick my targets to. I regularly stick Orange Peel, Shoot-N-C adhesive backed targets to these smaller sheets of cardboard. I also have other targets I've found elsewhere online that I print on my normal inkjet printer. A smear of glue stick or a few staples and I have a target that resists bending with the wind to shoot full of holes.

The ICE-QTs are some that really could benefit from heavy backing as they are on really thin, cheap paper. The light from down-range tends to shine through on the indoor range at my club and they are blowing around if not fastened to something heavier.

What he fails to mention is how much inkjet cartriges are!
