This poster is always trying to scam people. Always posts something high end for a low price. http://www.armslist.com/posts/413595/colorado-rifles-for-sale--pof-p308-ar10

He has been doing it for a while, wish they could stop him.

yeah it's the same type of ads you see on cl for 4-wheelers (or whatever) and they have a story about where they are and want to "send" you whatever. Same old song and dance, but unfortunately some still take the bait....

I emailed the poster a couple weeks ago about a $1400 dollar 1911 he had posted for $700. Just said are you aware that you get much more for it. Writes me back with an email addressed to a GI asking me to send the money here. Anyways never said anything about buying it. Then a week later he had an add for a Sig 551 for 900 I believe. Of course I emailed and got the same scam. I am going to email this clown with another email address and see what he's doing this time.

i replied to one once, i think it was a python for 800 (ads been up multiple times I'm sure) then I started getting weird fucktards trying to message me on messenger not sure where they were trying to go with it but just be careful As much as I enjoy sending colorful worded messages there's also the possibility of picking up viruses

I've also seen them take the position of a gi/vet..

where the message said something like they're deployed, needed some money for family in the states etc...
or where they're a vet fallen on hard times and just need to unload some stuff.....

some fk'd up angles

That's kind of what I've noticed on armslist, even though you see the occasional super rare, one of a kind, secret sniper group, princess Diane touched, Moses blessed junk the community usually gets the ads removed pretty quick

You know, that's actually a relief. I have flagged so many ads on Armslist, yet have not seen one actually taken down. Maybe there's hope after all :)
