Just wanted to say hi and introduce myself. I'm currently living in Longmont, but grew up in the extreme South East corner of the state. I got my first rifle (10/22) when I was six and thanks to my father, I've been an avid shooter ever since. I've always been more of a M1/Mini-14&30 fan than AR mainly just because of the gas system, but purchased my first AR(DPMS AP4 308) and I must say I fell in love w/it. I was googling for mags for it when I happened to come across this site. I am very impressed w/the friendliness of all your members and look for to being a member of this club and possilby shooting w/all of you in the future.

Howdy Jason! Welcome to the board. I was wondering if you were into hunting upland game birds. Since you grew up in Baca County I'd imagine you have some good spots. I’ve been hunting the Cimarron Grasslands for years mainly on the Kansas side near Elkhart. The bird count was way down this season due to the drought. We’ve been hunting up North lately by Norton Ks. and Southwest Nebraska. If your into birds we need to talk. :P Take it easy, Larry
