Mossberg 590 tri-rail forend

does anyone know who is the manufacturer for the new tril-rail forend that mossberg is putting on their 590's?

It looks like the Mako one, but I have heard bad things about Mako.

I bought a very similar one to that one if not the same one for my 500. It has held up fine for me. I also purchased an aluminum one but it was junk, I believe that one was made by UTG.

Command Arms makes one that brownells carries. Have you called Mossberg? They carry and sell many parts that are not listed on the website, and they are very friendly.

Thanks guys. I called Mossberg, but the guy said he can't tell me who the manufacturer is and that they don't sell the part separate. He told me to try Brownells or Midway for a similar forend.
