I have often thought about buying something like that or some other sub $100 gun, so when the police come knocking looking for your gun (ala New Orleans) I can say "Sure, I have a gun. Oh, you are going to confiscate my gun? OK, here you go. Now, please go away." That should do the trick.

Um, I belive they are supposed to have a red tip on them. They arn't a firearm. Anything that looks like a firearm but isn't is supposed to have a red tip.

Oh, and if they don't have a totally blocked barrel, they can kill...at point blank range.
