Tsunami evacuation training? By ducking and covering under a desk? How about showing them how to put on a life jacket and actually evacuate the building rather than hiding under a desk?

This looks like the old "duck and cover" drills we used to do in the 60s when we thought the commies were gonna rain missiles down upon us.

Maybe they're training for a new "wave" of Russian commie tsunamis?

1. it's government schools, not public. There is nothing public about them.

2. it's about control.

I was working in an office building in Westminster one time when there were tornadoes east of Denver. We could see them from the building. The lead secretary gets on the intercom and announces frantically: "Tornado everyone!! Everyone go outside to the parking lot!!!"

We all looked at each other like "Is she f-ing crazy?"
