with 2 different adapters i am using the halo on my sbr'd ar and this ak-106. i was going to go a different route for an ak & suppressor. but i lucked out on the adapter.
that's the kind of diversity i like to practice

Word of caution on any suppressor that indexes on the flash hider:

DO NOT use with a flash hider that is not NATO spec or a flash hider that is installed with a split washer or crush washer. The only method that Gemtech "warrants" in their unwritten warranty is use of a peel washer.

I love my Halo, but am now jealous after hearing a friend's SRT in action (SRT Typhoon w/ atlas universal mount). It too has a QD mount that aligns on the A2 flash hider.

Word of caution on any suppressor that indexes on the flash hider:


the ak-74 adapter replaces the f.hider. it screws onto the muzzle threads.
that is one of the reasons suppressor mfg and those who make adapters are hesitant to mass produce adapters for ak's. the lack of uniform concentric muzzle/bbls.
