Who is getting the movie on Tuesday?

I took my Dad and all my older kids to see it and the last movie my Dad went to
was the Micheal Keaton Batman. He enjoyed it as did all my kids and myself.

I will be getting it and yeah acting is C and plot is so so, its still a badass
AMERICA F**K YEAH!!!!!! movie.

Never saw it in the theater...can't wait to see it on DVD though. This is one I'll buy before I've seen it due to "credible reviews". The "film critics" are so FOS sometimes (too many times to believe them).

Haven't seen it yet, but I did get the adapted audiobook, which was damned good, plan on renting it out of Redbox when they get around to stuffing some copies in them.

I thought it was great. A movie about loving this country and fighting for
the innocent and for freedom.
Acting is,well what more do you expect from actual Navy SEALs.
Action scenes were realistic and reminded me of a few times boarding a ship
in a "HOT" boarding while patroling in the Northern Arabian Gulf enforcing UN sanctions at the time..
Ifs full on an "America F*** Yeah!!!!!!!!!" movie.

Definitely will be picking this up. Liked everything about it, and the average Joe acting didn't bother me. Really liked the emphasis on accurate semiauto fire instead of full auto everything. Hated the 100% hollywood treatment of Arnold in "Commando" - killing a bad guy with virtually every round fired in full auto.

The sound of the miniguns in the riverine hot extraction was awesome!!!

Saw it twice in the theaters. We'll be getting it for sure. It's part of the brainwashing program I'm developing for my son. He asked for an Army uniform last week while we were on Fort Carson - the horror!!!

There was a lot of realism in Act of Valor.
I had the pleasure of seeing some live fire excersises by the SEALS while I was in and
it blew my mind how precise they were and interlaced fields of fire and the mini was amazing. I wish to god I could have fired that mofo.

A good friend of mine told me how they did hot extrations on the water like they did in the SWCC boat scene.
Very close to how he described it, he was SWCC for the record.

I saw is in theaters and will pick it up on blu ray. Movie was very good overall, but some of the acting was so so. It paid very good homage to military which I liked and the actions scenes were flawless.

I'm torn on buying this right now. The lack of extras makes me just want to rent it for now. On the other hand the movie probably won't sell well enough to get another edition down the line. Hmmm.....
