I think the funnest thing about this is that when I first heard about it last year they wanted you to prepare. Many .Gov sites want you to prepare but then turn right around and say that if you "stockpile" you are on the bad list.

I wish my Employer would make up there mind. [Flower] I pray for the best being one of those mixed up Religion types but prepare for the worst the best I can. [Beer] Starting to chant and pray at the same time. [Bang]

was just at the grand canyon. TONS of asians there on vacation and a lot of them were still wearing the masks.

They wear mask everywhere. Hell i've seen them with mask going back 5-10 years. Konichiwa

The masks are mostly a Japanese thing aren't they? I am probably racial profiling.

I wonder if they have reduced cases of colds or whatever creeping crud gets passed around when we cough and sneeze? I should start wearing one at work (just to mess with people).

Yep, when my friend was stationed in Okinawa he asked about this, they said because the population lives so close to one another if one person gets sick it spreads faster than a wildfire at a oil refinery. Hence why I stay the hell away from India, China, Tokyo, and NYC...

They are like the Quarians, they have a weakened immune system and it puts them at greater risk of harm from common diseases in the rest of the world. Similar to when European settlers brought disease to the new world.
