Mandate all Veterans get in-state tuition at public or private colleges and universities, regardless of actual residency. In Colorado this already happens, but it is not the case nationwide.
Name Resident tuition - Nonresident Tuition
Texas A&M - 176.55-689.55
University of Florida- 168.15-910.72
UMass Amherst - 857-4968
UConn- 885-1864
Berkeley*- 486 for resident and non resident*+11439 (nonres supplemental tuition per semester)
University of Alabama- 650-1200
University of Alaska-Anchorage-165-580
Arizona State University- 658-909
Iowa State University- 277-781
Now remember folks, the G.I. Bill only pays the in-state portion of the tuition. You are on the hook for the difference if you are out-of-state
