Fall river road which is still closed till the 4th of july

I thought it looked familiar! I tried to get up there in April but immediately got stuck in the snow. It is passable now? I'm going asap!

The road is closed till the 4th. The falls are right above the alluvial fan from the dam breaking un 1982

There wasn't a physical closure when we went up in April, nor last year when we did it in June. Did you hike all the way in?

Falls are right above the road where fawn lake debris is. I did hike up the road, there doing repairs at the top. Elk were low except for a few cows below the visitor center at the top.

This guy was LARGE. I don't know if it was a Marmot or a Beaver, but either way, it was 50% the size of my 4 year-old.
