I most definitely have not seen it all, but I have seen worse than this.

If you haven't, count your blessings or pay closer attention.

What about the young mom earlier this week that put her baby in a car seat on the roof and forgot it,then the seat fell off in an intersection. She admitted to smoking pot just before the incident.

Uh-oh, I hope you're not disapproving of the way some people raise their kids...

But yeah, this is ridiculous. What is the thought process that occurs when one decides this is a good idea?

And how sad that many who would be great and loving parents can't be.

FFFFF That!! I wouldn't put my Neice in the back of my pickup, just so I can save some gas spillage!!!! Or trunk, or SUV!!

If it were regular she would have it threw it in the trunk. Must have been race gas.

See, a good mom would have a car seat for the gas and the toddler.
Gotta think ahead...

We are not forcing her to change, just exercising our right of free speech to talk about how stupid she is. As long as we don't infringe on her right to be stupid, but I feel for the child who does not have the rights to make the choice for themselves...................... [Coffee]

My thoughts exactly. Maybe if OP had said something to effect of "I saw this and it made me angry and I wanted to say something to the mother" then they would chime in.

The news stated that the car was pulled over for the driver not wearing a seat belt, and then found this....

I thought that in Colorado a seatbelt violation was a secondary infraction and that you couldn't get pulled over for that alone....am I mistaken?

I'm calling bullshit on this woman.... That's right...

BULLSHIT!!!!

Sandra Ramirez, the mother whose son is pictured in a controversial gas can car seat photo (http://www.denverpost.com/breakingnews/ci_20790914/aurora-cops-cite-mom-who-buckled-up-gas), spoke to 9News this morning. The Colorado Department of Transportation posted the photo (https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=365367060184873&set=a.249799021741678.76857.186366104751637&type=1) on its Facebook page on Tuesday.
Ramirez says while she was pulled over, her son was in the car seat in the back seat. However, while she was speaking to the officer, Ramirez claims her 3-year-old son wiggled out of the car seat and sat in the passenger-side back seat.
Lieutenant Chuck DeShazer, Commanding Officer of the Aurora Police Department Traffic Sections, says the officer continued to question Ramirez about the child in the back seat. He says Ramirez's response to the officer was, "Oh, he unbuckles and buckles his seat belt by himself all the time."
Ramirez is extremely upset by the controversial photo and apologized for the misunderstanding. She told 9NEWS she plans to sell her car and not drive again.
