Wouldn't put it past those Gawker bastards to start killing people for stories. [Muaha]

I was so excited to read Gawker today, after the election last night....sadly, not much crying there. I'll have to stick to Reddit, I guess...

End of an era. They don't write sci-fi like this anymore. His fiction was of emotion, hope, a future, and of humanity. Can't get much better than: Illustrated Man, Fahrenheit 451, Martian Chronicles, Toynbee Convector. My favorites were his short stories. He will be missed.

I think I need to re-read 451, Martian Chronicles, etc. Rest in peace Mr. Bradbury. One of my favorite authors.

From a friend of mine:

Don't rest in peace Mr. Bradbury, haunt us, remind us to visit a library, read a book, write a letter, tell a spooky story, run through a field of dandelions, and search the night skies for rockets.

“Stuff your eyes with wonder, live as if you'd drop dead in ten seconds. See the world. It's more fantastic than any dream made or paid for in factories.”
