Someone just posted another sawed off shotgun on armslist:

Brand new never fired. Custom stock with custom purple paint one of a kind. Shoots 3" shells. Send pics of your trade to deleted@gmail.com and phone number you must come to me .

Will trade for: Sks, or AK47 may trade for other guns or portable generator in the 4000 to 10,000 watt range

http://www.armslist.com/posts/424674/denver-colorado-rifles-for-trade--one-of-a-kind-custom-shotgun-side-by-side

No mention of whether this is a 12 or 20 gauge or who the manufacturer is. Looks like maybe a Baikal coach gun? If that is a 12 gauge it would be downright painful to shoot with 3" shells. And WHY would anyone paint it purple??? That is just so wrong.

Why? Looks to be an 18" barrel.

Oh, I thought you meant forward to ATF. That's quite a piece there.

Prior to the purple aspect and the hacksaw, it could have been worthwhile...

......but he said it was 20" end to end, rules it has to be no shorter than 26" overall.

How did he have $1000 in to the gun and why purple? Big pimping eh?

the patina doesnt look new.

........it has a tinge to it......:D

Needs little ponies on the side. It appears he edited the listing since this thread was started. No longer detail on the generator he would trade for

Preetty sure you'd sprain a wrist and break a finger or two touching off just about anything 3" with that. Holy crap.

The way I read that.. 20" from tip to end of barrel. It looks legal.

......the guys ad has been edited, he says end to end makes me think the whole thing but he is talking about the barrel length. Badly written ad, wonder if he posted while driving on his car right after taking the pictures. :D

What do you expect from a guy who likes purple gun(s)?

He only fired it once . . . out the passenger side window. "Works well!"

I have never seen a $1000 coach gun before, and that has warning to read owner's manual engraved on the side so it is likely an inexpensive import of recent manufacture. Who would've thought that a pistol grip and a few coats of high gloss purple plum paint would increase the value so much? Maybe he swapped a set of chrome rims for it and is using that to determine value? Very few men can rock a purple shotty . . . you'd need a matching hat and shoes at the very least.

Was he always in Aurora? I could have sworn that said Westminster before he started editing. Now it says brand new never fired, someone better jump on this deal quick![ROFL1]

doesnt look legal to me. minimum barrel of 18", AND a minimum of 26" IIRC.

even if it is legal what the hell is the point.

Street Cred, Yo.

I just got done talking to an inmate about street cred, actually...

Mostly about how he has none... [ROFL1]

If it was 10K gold plated, rhinestone encrusted, and used a purple feather boa for a sling I could see $1000 trade value . . . but he didn't even bother to chrome plate that shotty.

So that would make it a Norinco, which retails for 200 and does not eject the spent shells. That is the most expensive Norinco SXS ever.
