I haven't gotten anything more than 1" but it's taking forever to finish rolling through. My dog really has to go pee....
dang storm doesn't know what way it wants to go. Someone's getting way more rain then they need too, along with lots of hail. I'm right on the east edge of it so far. My wife is on the west side of it, waiting to come home.

I need the snow shovel and I am sure all the plants are toast. Good thing we did not put in a garden this year. Let me try the video. It is impressive. Been about 6 years since we have had one this bad.

Here on the west side (Pleasant Valley ... basically between Old Colorado City and the Garden of the Gods) we're getting some light sprinkles ... not even enough to water the doggone garden.
We usually have the mildest weather in town. As God is my witness, as long as I live in this city I will never live east of I25 or north of Garden of the Gods/Austin Bluffs.
I know a lot of good PDR guys up this way and if you dont want to travel up to Denver I will find you the best guy in the Springs to go to.

It was coming down pretty good up here in the Briargate area. The hail wasn't quite as big, maybe 1", if that. Tried to pull my truck in the garage, but the back end is sticking out just a tad.

1/2 hour later and we are still getting pounded.
There goes your new roof Jerry. [Rant1] A bunch of small hail and a bunch of rain for a hour on the north end.

Dang! Carpet of pain there.
Got 4 waves here, but nothing bigger than a quarter. Lots of rain though - maybe 2 inches in 2 hours.

Ft Carson just lifted the weather warning. (yes I am close enough to hear them)
All the plants are toast and I just put in a few new Xeriscape plants last weekend. [Bang]
wife is still stuck in Parker, parked under a bank drive-thru awning.
Dang! Sorry to hear it guys. Hope you got full coverage jerry. That is nasty looking.

Wow, drivers are horrible in this even when it wasn't that bad. I was headed north on Union and I couldn't go under 24E because people were just parked all willy nilly under it. I literally had to back up, take the on ramp, drive over the median, and hit the exit ramp to get where I was going.
Jerry, you didn't put the goat out to get a bath?
Just SE of peterson AFB, and we got bypassed just a sprinkle of rain, and no hail thank god

I just drove through all of that crap. I will wait until morning to see how many dents we have in the vehicles.
HBAR, did you get nailed up there? I was supposed to reroof my property up there last summer and never got around to it. I hope it isn't toast now.

We got quaters at my place in parker ( stonegate ) a little to the south of me had a few baseballs. Got all my mater plants under the deck earlier and the potted plants in the garage. weve had prolly 3 inches of rain in the last 2 hours
The Rock got pounded for a good while . Quarter sized hail and a lot of rain over here west of the outlet mall area.
I live just N of Peterson AFB. About 6:30pm I started my nightly walk ended up in a dash when the 3/4" hail started to fall. I figure we got more water out of this storm system than the last 5 storms combined. I have seen worse - but never walked in worse.
Damn! That looks like one hell of a storm.
We just got thunder and some rain. The thunder definitely built up by the time it hit Boulder.

Not much in Bailey, for a change. It did rain really hard for about 45 seconds. Like someone turned on a switch...then turned it off.
I feel for you guys with all the hail.

Of course it came down this hard. My truck is under a tree and it was just washed. Now it is filthy.
when I came to work this morning, in the Pinery, I see they had snow trucks out plowing hail on Flintwood near HillTop and Democrat Rd. Wow!! The hail is still 6" deep through there.
Quite a storm, hope we don't get a repeat today..

Resurrection Roofing will cover your deductible, and we'll get you taken care of! Shoot me a PM if you need it replaced. :)
That picture is AMAZING btw!
Wife's truck has a lot of little dents all over it now from last nite....oh well.
We live just east of the airport and we didn't even get one drop of rain (and no hail).
I just got a few quarter size hail balls at 8:30 tonight. (Thursday)
At least tonight's storm did not last as long as last night. I used to enjoy storm season before owning a roof.

It's creepy watching TV and when they zoomed in pretty good on the smaller storm, it's centered right over my house. Damn...
I just looked at the radar and it's about 4 miles N-NW from my house. Looks like my truck might get hammered by some hail!

We live just east of the airport and we didn't even get one drop of rain (and no hail).
I live towards the North end of the Airport and got hammered last night and tonight.
tonight - ouch - and crass - oh ship
My old Plymouth - one windshield broken -
My less old Saturn Vue - one windshield broken
My living room - 1.5" ice ball that worked it's way thru the sky light.
No idea what the additional damage - but figured the roof took a good beating.
Tomorrow I will get out the duc tape and heavy plastic and cover the old skylight - I guess my toy buying spree has stopped dead in it's tracks. I wonder what a good skylight costs . . .
At least I was not out walking like I was doing during the last hair storm - then I only got hit with 3/4" hail that was "soft".
I live towards the North end of the Airport and got hammered last night and tonight.
We are directly East from the South end of the runway. We got nothing last night and it just brushed past us a few minutes ago. A few pea sized hail and a little rain - that was it. It's amazing how localized these storms are. PAFB got hammered last night and tonight. We are only six miles South from the East gate and we got nothing.

It missed us last night. Just a light rain this morning.
That first storm cell just appeared from nowhere right over my house last night. Sat there for a while before moving on to the east.

I was gone for this one. That is why I ALWAYS park in the garage at DIA. I don't want to come home to my truck looking like Swiss cheese.
Found my yard torn to hell when I got home. Trees, flowers, plants got hit hard. Last time we got hit this hard was in 2009 (that time was worse for us) and I had to go collect all the injured birds that the hail took out. My wife's car was brand new at the time, parked outside and my Dad and I went outside in our motorcycle helmets trying to cover the car with blankets and camping pads. We saved most of it but one or two of the 2" sized hail produced some dents, she was pissed.
No car damage this time. Haven't checked the roof yet but if the amount of roof material below my downspouts is any indication, we might need a new one. I suppose if your cup's half full, that's the good thing about the hail in Colorado...you should never have to replace a roof that reached old age. You're almost guaranteed that your insurance will be buying you a new roof every 5-6 years due to hail damage.
PS - Aurora Gun Club is toast. 100% flooded and looks like the high water was 12" deep. All the berms are under water. It is going to take a lot of cleanup to get it open again. Damn. That will teach me to put off sighting in for prairie dog opening...
