Thinking about putting one of these on my AR, or may the magpul MIAD grip. Whats your thought on them? Do these offer any advantages over the usual military style grip?

The standard moe is just meh to me but the moe+ is rubberised and feels really good in the hand. I like it so much I put a moe+ on all my ARs.

The standard, generic grips are way too narrow for me. I have a MIAD with the largest backstrip on my rifles. I'm also not a fan of rubberized grips. What I love about the AR style rifles is that there's something for everyone out there. Having that little compartment is neat but I've never actually used it.

When I shoot a rifle, I like to use the tip of my index finger to pull the trigger. I just can't do this with the stock AR grip. The MOE gives me a grip that lets me comfortably get on the trigger the way I like. If I used the MIAD grip, it would end up being configured just like the MOE anyways so I just use the MOE. I tried the MOE+ and didn't like it. It felt like any rough use might tear the rubber coating on it. But that just might be my O.C.D kicking in.

Do you like the A2 grip OP? We cant decide for you. The MOE grip has a comfortable angle and doesnt have the damn hump that the A2 has. Many people like it for a reason. Like mutt said, try the MOE+ if you can.

Exactly this.

I have fairly large hands and the MIAD is the only one that feels decent. MOE is not great. A2 is plain silly.

I put one on my last AR build. I like it, it feels good. But I'm thinking about changing to a MIAD...As well as an STR stock, and changing all the furniture out to black. Kind of over the OD thing.

Big hands here, need big grip. Moe rubberized works well on my fighting rifles and I use the MIAD on the precision gun.

I have an MOE+ grip on the pistol that I just built and I love it. It fits in my hand very well and I really like the rubberized texture.

So far my favorite grip is the MOE+ (love the rubber coating) I also like BCM Gunfighter mod1 grip different angle and feels great to. I had a Starks grip and actually really liked it but just looked funny.

I love the look and the feel of the Magpul Miad. I changed over to the BCM Gunfighter grip and although I don't quite like the look as much as the Miad the feel of it is so much better with that grip slanted forward a bit.

Yeah it is hard to explain, my wrist is in a comfortable position with the Gunfighter grip. I wish they would make one rubber armored and maybe just a tad bigger in diameter.

I like the MIAD. The changable backstrap lets me make it big enough for my hand and I like the texture of the grip.

Pachmayr makes rubber sleeves that slide over pistol grips. I don't know if anybody else make them. They might work for you.

Have Fun.

I've had both the MOE and MOE+ on my AR and like them both, but probably prefer the MOE+.

I have three Miad's and I have them all set up like Moe grips, went ahead and ordered a Moe+ out of curiosity, seem to be popular here.
