View Full Version : Anyone using PWS "enhanced" buffer tube?
Anyone using a PWS "enhanced" buffer tube? Is it any good/worth the price?
I'll keep an eye on this thread. I have been thinking about picking one of these up as well.
I just did one on my ar piston build. I like the quality. I picked mine up on another forum for 64 shipped.

What does it do that makes it special?
If it eliminated AR "Sproing!" it would be worth it.
for the piston upper it eliminates the buffer tilt which why I went with it. But now I really like the clean look. here are a couple pics of it on mine

I was thinking about getting one but the price seems high for what it offers. In reality it dosent offer much over a millspec tube for 30$.

I went with a PWS tube on my 9mm. I'm sure it offers no functional value over a milspec tube, but I liked the look and the integrated sling points.

That's a good price! Can I ask where?
Yes I found it on http://www.longrangehunting.com/
So, I got a PWS enhanced buffer tube and put it on my POF rifle. Shoots great! No "Sproing!" I don't know if that's because of the buffer tube or the rifle, because I never shot the rifle before installing the tube. I also have a H-2 buffer in there.
