I still like my old Black hawk, but this one just feels better - 4-5/8 barrel just balances right, the grip is steel, the ejector rod housing is steel. It feels quite a bit different in the hand from the alloy grip- frame Blackhawk. The unfluted cylinder is a nice touch too.

Well, I got to shoot it this afternoon. It seemed to like the mid-range loads and the full house stuff I developed for my 629. I like not having to re-invent the wheel.

Shooting the two guns side by side, I have to say the plowshare handle single action rolls in your hand nicely. The DA Smiff just jolts straight back. Huge difference IMHO.
