springfield xd magazine question

Anyone know if any of the XD x-tensions for the magazines are interchangeable? Will a xdM45 fit onto a xd45 mag?

I'm not sure about these magazine extensions you are referring to, but the XD45 and the XDM45 use the same magazines. The 9mm and the 40 S&W guns take different magazines but the .45's take the same mags.

(I am fairly certain on this but you might get a second opinion)

I am about 98% sure the magazines are the same. So I am sure the "sleeve" will fit on the magazine. Now, whether or not the magazine will fit into the gun properly with the x-tension installed might be a whole different story.

I don't know all of the differences between the XD and XDM and am definitely not familiar with the differences in the "compact" models.

XD extension WILL NOT on the .40 XDM compact. Tried Pearce extension on my .40 XDM compact that was labeled for XD and it wont fit. Had to order in the pinky extension specifically for the XDM mag off the internet. Unsure on the .45 but seems to me if it didnt work for the .40 it probably wont work for the .45

I was thinking of factory x-tension. Didn't even know I could get a generic one.

Firing line has pierce pinky rest/extension and the +1 extension for xd's in stock generally. Think they run like $8-$10 +tax. They had to order mine in for my xdm compact. Think I paid like $12 out the door ans they installed it for me as well
