Stopping by to say Hello. Just moved up from Texas where just about every weekend there is always somewhere to shoot within reasonable driving distance. Living in COLO SPGS now and looking to keep shooting IDPA and Multigun which are my 2 favorite shooting sports. If anyone here knows of any coming up soon feel free to let me know. [Beer]

So, to shoot IDPA at Front Range I have to take a "MATCH CONDUCT SAFETY COURSE"

Yes. What is confusing about this? It's an hour long course to make you familiar with the IDPA rules and safety operations.

Is the Course held before the Match or done as it's own event?

Course is at 8, match starts at 9:15.

From the FAQ...

If you have an IPSC classification or have proof that you have competed in an IDPA, USPSA or ICORE match somewhere else, the class is not required.

There is a lot of shooting 30 minutes south of you in Pueblo. Everything from Sniper Matches to Benchrest to Silhouette.

Hope to see you out there.

So, Is my current IDPA Classification Score good enough, or should I just take the class anyway?

Thanks Hoser

You will be fine with what you have. The class is not mandatory for experienced competitive shooters.
