I'm wondering if any of you guys are Ford guys (this is an F150, I have an F350), I would love to get a light bar like this one has on it's roof - just as lights and not as strobes, anyone know where? I've combed the net and can't find anything. I also love these new grills Ford is using too, can't find those either for mine :(.
Bad-ass looking truck though.

Agreed very badass. There is a company code3 that may have it and another Speedtech. One of my buddies is in the CHP in California he may know.
no side rails? could be tough to climb in for some of the hefty LEOs or small LEOs
Border patrol has Raptors.
I have some pics of popo trucks from SEMA I'll post.

I probably have more. I'll have to find em later.

I saw Speedtech yesterday, it seemed everything was strobed rather than just lights. I really like the sleek low profile look of the light bar.

That's pretty sweet!

From what I understand those light bars can be set up in just about any combination of color and type of lights you need. Check out Whelen. Those new light bars are extremely bright but very expensive. They can be seen very clearly from a distance during the day.

What you want is an LED lightbar. I have a bunch of VisionX lights on the roof of my media van, these things are awesome.

I saw those at SEMA last year, pretty cool!

Yeah vision x had a nice display. Those led bars are some pricey things though. But waterproof and solid state is definitely a plus.

And blind everybody at night. They need to cut the intensity at night.

They are not legal to use on the road if not colored and most colors are emergency vehicles only. You can't legally kick on your KC Daybrighters at night on the road either.
That truck is pretty cool- but I can outrun an F150 on a pedal bike [LOL] (that's a joke, don't get pissy)...
Here's the reason you don't speed in Germany:

If I was a LEO this would be my dream to cruise in one of these.
523BHP, 0-60 in 3.3s, and a top speed of 196MPH... yeah you really can't get away from one of those, and the Polizei version has upgraded suspension, tires, brakes, anti-sway bars, and clutch... [PoPo]
Porsche, bleh, I would rather have my Benz :).
Oh look, it's this idea again. Ford spent a ton of cash in R&D to design a cop car with input from police departments. And then when they announced it, nobody wanted to buy it.

I think this is a pretty awesome idea, and can't wait to see it actually take off... the Carbon E7 is the first ever purpose built law enforcement cruiser and integrates all the necessary equipment for the LEO to use without having to retrofit and upgrade an already existing civilian vehicle.
It features a fuel efficient 300BHP, BMW Turbo Diesel engine, integrated lights, computer system, 360degree exterior surveillance system (Audio and Visual) and several officer/passenger safety features. I say I approve!

Note: this car was published in Roundel Magazine (the BMW Car Club publication) about a year and a half ago because of the fact that it had the BMW TDI engine. [Beer]

I've been T-boned in an intersection because someone didn't see my lights or hear my siren.
People seem to have solid cases for lawsuit because they can say the lights weren't seen or the car wasn't a marked unit, etc. I want as much light as I can get.
From the car show couple of years ago.

I have to hand it to ford, they at least circle the problem with their vehicles...
I don't get it. It looks like every other base model 1/4 ton pick up on the market. It's not even as cool as the Raptor.
Also, another vote for those LED light bars as what you are looking for. I can give you yet another link to another company that has not been posted yet (I think) and has lots of options for you to choose from.
I wonder if they put the mustang motors in them???
It would be kick ass if they had the Saleen motor in them!!
