Price Check on a used gun plz

Hi I have a freind who has a used .357 magnum Desert Eagle. He has shot it a few times, the thing looks NIB and internally looks real good, comes with 2 10rnd mags. It's just the regular black type not silver or gold or anything, but i actually preferr that.

He bought it new, anyways the guy wants somewhere between 350 and 450 for it.

I'm just wondering what one is worth used. And if thats a good price.

outside of the "cool factor" they are (flame away) boat anchors.
spend the cash on ammo. or buy a handgun that's practical.

700-800... i guess i cant pass up 350-450 than :)

i dont really mind a gun sized to my proportions either :p I'm 6'4 260 pounds so to be honest that guns still a bit small for taste! LOL
