I was flying downwind for 17R at KAPA this evening and saw the B17 on final! Awesome aircraft!!!

We had a B-17 land at our airport years back for an airshow and it had avionics issues. I got to go in and fix the issue, and get to play all over the aircraft, sit in the gunner seats, climb through the bomb bay, etc. That was hella fun.

enjoyed multiple LOW passes of the B17 while painting the house today. Nearly fell off the ladder a few times trying to get a better view. Must have been in the right flight path to see it multiple times.
