Bayonet ID help

My neighbor received this bayonet as a gift years ago. He asked me what it goes to and I have no idea. The only markings are the production number on side and AS FA on the other. Any ideas:

Looks like a Turkish Mauser.

Think thats turkish could be german though my bayonet knowledge hasnt been hauled out and dusted off in a while.

Mauser for sure! Not shure what Nationation but I have a few, what blade length? That might help???????

The Turks seemed to have a higher Barrel hole thingy, than say a yugo.
