I joined up a few months back but didn't really have time to post much, then my account vanished like a convict in a courtroom during the great forum failure in March.

So I am back to say hello again. I have been reading this forum for about 3 years and have already learned lots from you guys, but now hopefully I can bring something to the table for you all to chew on.

I too live on the north side of COS. Do you know anything about the Pike's Peak Gun Club? I'm thinking about joining. I'm sick of the "risky business" of shooting at Mt Herman rd or going to Dragonmans. I'm also looking for a local CCW class for my wife and myself if you have any recommendations. Thanks!

PPGC is a nice facility, but they're expensive (over a hundred bucks per year plus daily fees when shooting). I also prefer Frontier (less than a hundred bucks per year and no daily fees).

There is a real good CCW class at Paradise Sales (http://paradisefirearms.com/). But there's several other classes around town that might be closer to where you're at (they're just west of downtown).

And relative to my location, something on the East side of town would be nice. Does Frontier have a CCW class? I actually live fairly close to Frontier.
