I have been working on a little project out at my folks house and figured I would post up some photos of the progress..

had to take out some boards first.. then I extended it out a little..

put a concrete block under the 45 degree corner there to ensure people could stand right on the edge there without if flexing or sinking at all.

the weights are on there to work out some of the warp in the lumber. I think it turned out pretty good.

Think it turned out alright so far. I will be putting a railing around the whole thing, sanding the old lumber and staining, or painting the entire thing so that it all matches. This was my first real attempt at something like this, so I am kinda learning as I go, but very fun and really cool to see it coming together.
What do you guys think?
