I can't seem to find any info on target shooting in Pike National Forest and Douglas County during fire bans. Just seeing if anyone knows. Sorry if this has been covered or is a stupid question. I searched the threads and websites for douglas county and PNF and didn't find what I was looking for.

I've been trying to find something like this specific to pike national forest or Douglas county. I figure it probably the same, but gilpin county still allows some recreational shooting.
Thanks for the links!

Whether or not there is a specific ban, use common sense. I wouldn't even fart in the woods right now without being nervous.
You could always call the PSICC and get a plain english translation of the closures and orders: 719-553-1400
So YOU are the 1 with flaming ass farts.

Thanks for the info gents! Commen sense and safety are paramount. It was stated last night at the Divide evacuee meeting that recreational shooting is still allowed but not advised.
No air guns even in some counties. Water fight anyone?

only times I've set fires when shooting was when using tracers at Ft. Carson... I figure just always use common sense, except that it's not so common anymore these days...
